Discount Policy

Three types of discounts are available on course fees for 2009 classes: institutional, previous Institute participant, and graduate student. Only one type of fee reduction may apply to a given individual.

1. Institutional Group Discounts
Institutions registering two or more employees in multi-day classes (two days or more) may receive discounts of $70 per person for two employees, $75 per person for three, and $80 per person for four or more employees. Discounts are per person and not per course. To qualify, registration forms must be submitted simultaneously for all from the same organization. On registration forms, include last names of all persons in group to receive institutional discount.

2. Previous Institute Participant Discounts
Persons who have attended Institute courses in the past may deduct $140 for the 4-day course, $120 for each 3-day, $80 for each 2-day, and $35 for each one-day course. To qualify for these discounts, past participants must list the past TEI course/class attended and the year of attendance below.

3. Graduate Student Discounts

Full-time graduate students enrolled in degree programs in evaluation or closely-related fields may qualify for deductions of $125/day for up to three days. Graduate students engaged in full-time employment are not eligible for this discount. A maximum of two student discounts will be given for any one course. To apply, complete the registration form, and attach a letter on university letterhead signed by a major advisor attesting to school and work status. The letter should also confirm your course of study in an evaluation-related field. Discounts for graduate student are limited, so please call the TEI Registrar 302-644-0990 to determine if graduate student discount space remains in a specific class.
